In the symposium held within the "Today's Youth are Tomorrow's Masters" project organized by The Association of Traditional Arts at Bağlarbaşı Conference and Culture Centre between December 19-20th, 2016, samples of Illumination, Hand-drawing, Miniature, Tiling, Marbling, Paper Filigree, Calligraphy and Binding arts were exhibited. Later on, a catalogue was prepared bringing these artistic works together.
A Copyrights Training Workshop was held on December 13th by The Association of Traditional Arts. Hosted by Orhan Kemal Public Library, the event was attended by about 150 artists and academicians. The content of the “Copyrights Training Workshop” program was converted into a presentation booklet.
Prof. Dr. Selçuk Mülayim brought important new dimensions to researches of art history with his rich expertise in archaeology, art history and his artistic style and personality. In 2014, The Association of Traditional Arts prepared a book titled “A Gift to Selçuk Mülayim” containing articles written by 24 academicians.
Organized by The Association of Traditional Arts and supported by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Albayrak Group, Zeytinburnu Municipality, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, The Masters of the Future Contest 2015 included the major eight traditional arts; Calligraphy, Tiling, Binding, Illumination, Marbling, Hand-drawing, Miniature and Paper Filigree.
