Traditional Arts Association, with the support of Culture and Tourism Ministry has completed and presented the inventory book and website of the “Masters of Turkey-Marmara Region” to the public in the introductory meeting held on 11th November 2017 at Crr.
The inventories of the masters of traditional arts and crafts living and producing in the provinces of the Marmara Region were made and our cultural heritage and art accumulation were made visible.
The Traditional Arts Association, within the scope of “Fidelity to Tradition” programs for the purpose of commemorating the masters who contributed greatly to the promotion and development of these arts through their work in the field of traditional arts, commemorated Mustafa Düzgünman who contributed greatly to the Turkish marbling art.
In order to contribute to the promotion and the development of Patchwork art, The Association of Traditional Arts organized a two-category patchwork contest in 2017 in cooperation with the Municipality of Beykoz and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University. The contest was held in two categories as "Freestyle Design" and "Traditional Design". The Association of Traditional Arts also prepared a catalogue including the awarded works and the ones worth-to-exhibit.
